Below is one of five video clips selected by WGBH's Masterpiece Video Diary Project to air nationally on The Diary of Anne Frank on PBS April 11th. This is the story of one AFH's artists, Anne Rose Passe. She tells her own story, which is one of 5 submissions chosen.
Anne Rose Passe is a painter at Artists For Humanity. In this video, she tells her personal story that started in Haiti when her father was killed because of his political beliefs and her mother was threatened. Anne Rose suddenly finds herself on her own in suburb of Boston. Like Anne Frank, Anne Rose is able to use her words to express how she felt as a young girl struggling to grow up. Her story will air on PBS following the Diary of Anne Frank on PBS/WGBH this Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 9pm EST. Check out her story below:
