WBZ is the Bees Knees!

Recently, WBZ TV invited AFH to talk a bit about our mission, our L.E.E.D. Platinum Certified Green EpiCenter, and our upcoming Greatest Party on Earth.  And who better to step up to the mic than our Motion Graphics Mentor and AFH program alumnus, Mikey Guadarrama? Our energetic mentor cut his creative teeth in our painting studio as a teen before moving into our Graphics department, where he further honed his skills as a thoughtful designer. After graduating, Mikey took his talents to New York City, where he designed for Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and Spike TV. Luckily for us, his return to Boston brought him back to AFH, where he has been leading our Graphics teens in creating original commissioned designs for all types of clients, including the Boston Medical Center, W Hotels, and Eastern Bank.

Erica Corsano, former STUFF Magazine editor and current Senior Curator at Gilt City Boston, joined Mikey for the interview to talk about her involvement as a member of the Greatest Party on Earth’s Host Committee as we gear up for the 7^th Annual GPOE!
