Grand Circle Gallery and Artists for Humanity (AFH) present a joint exhibit called "Going Places" beginning tomorrow 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. until January 15, 2011. The exhibit features luggage donated by Samsonite and Goodwill, and sneakers donated by Keds. All items are for sale after the close of the exhibit.

Young artists make over the luggage and sneakers using their creative ability. “Our mission is to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing underserved youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts,” said AFH Executive Director Susan Rodgerson.

The Grand Circle Gallery is at 347 Congress Street in Boston. Admission is FREE and the gallery is accessible. For more information on Grand Circle Gallery, visit www.gct.com/grandcirclegallery or call 617 346-6521. For more information on Artists for Humanity, please visit www.afhboston.com.
