85 Return for AFH Reunion!

Reunited...and it feels so good!

After two decades of employing teens, we thought it would be a great time to host a giant AFH Reunion! Thanks to a brilliant idea from our Education Director Lesley Horrall, all those who worked at AFH, from 1990 to now, were invited to reunite at the EpiCenter! Over 85 alumni representing all 20 years gathered at the Lewis Gallery, some of who had not been back since their apprenticeship! All enjoyed seeing themselves in a slide show projected on the North wall during dinner and desserts, which were graciously catered by Cuisine Chez Vous, Bakers Best, and East Meets West. It was a wonderful evening of catching up and sharing stories, and everyone agreed that more frequent reunions would be welcome. But AFH’s doors aren’t just open for reunion galas...before the dinner began, Lesley announced that all alums have the opportunity to access the AFH Education/Career Services.

So, a new tradition has been initiated and we all look forward to more frequent happy reunions!  If you were there, we hope you will post your thoughts and pictures on our Facebook.
