What's October in South Boston without Fort Point Arts Community Open Studios? It's a 33 year old tradition that welcomes
the public into studios and marketplaces to admire and purchase fine art and
designs created by local artists. Proudly, AFH studios have been represented
there for almost 15 years!
This past weekend, AFH set up
shop at the Midway Studio to show off (and sell!) AFH
screenprinted tees, funky eco-friendly jewelry made in our 3D design studio, and
paintings created by our teen-artists. We were honored to be among the 150
artists’ studios in the FPAC Open Studios.
Everyone wants one of our infamous Bahk Bahk! t-shirts! Kershner and Brenda work the sales! |
This ring, part of our new eco-friendly ReVision jewelry line, is made out of recycled materials and old paint chips collected from our Painting palettes! |
A Future AFHer?? |
We've also got bracelets! |
And funky paint-chip earrings too! |
Like our new ReVision Jewelry line? Get yours at our holiday sale and party on 12.12.12! |
Organized by Brenda Leong, the
AFH table was coordinated and staffed by Studio mentors Geo Ortega, Mary
Nguyen, and Stephen Hamilton along with AFH teen-painter Cassandra Ephraim, AFH teen-graphic designer Lexi Zotov, and AFH alum Kershner Williams. They held down the AFH fort all weekend and chatted with neighbors, friends, and those unfamiliar with AFH's mission!
