Bikes not Bombs!

As a teen empowerment (and employment!) program for teen-artists, AFH has much in common with Bikes Not Bombs, an awesome organization located in JP.  While we use art, they use bikes as a vehicle for social change. How cool is that?

Recently, Bikes Not Bombs' after-school, teen bike repair team, Chain Reaction, which travels to community and youth centers around Boston for mobile bike repairs, brought their tools and can-do attitude to AFH. Fatima, Abdul, Evan, Jose and mentor Sarah gave much needed TLC to our AFH messenger bike and AFH staff bikes. A bonus was getting to know more about Bikes Not Bombs and the teens they empower.
